16 bit MS-Dos Subsystem Error message When Using File Explorer / I

Hi,

I keep getting the following error message when using Explorer from My
Computer or the first time I open up IE after start up.


"C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\SURFAI~1.EXE
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:06ff IP:03c6 OP:63 61 74 69 6f Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application."

I then have the choice to either "Close" or "Ignore".
Thanks in advance for any help - I am using XP Home edition.

Uninstall Surfairy from Add/Remove Programs, or use BHO demon to remove
it. It's a 3rd party browser helper object.

Did you know it was installed? Have you done, an do you regularly do
thorough scans for malware in safe mode using a an up to date anti-virus
program with current definitions and a combination of good anti adware,
spyware programs?
