15-25 seconds to see my computer

Here is a common fix for this problem.
Open the System Configuration file (START - RUN, type msconfig)
Under the "Services " tab, uncheck WIA (Windows Image Accusation)
Reboot and check My Computer again.
If that fixes the program, go to the Control Panel, Administrative Tools -
Then Services, right mouse click on WIA, choose Properties, then the "start
up type" box change to "disable".
