1394a ieee drivers

Guys i'm looking for a site, I've been checking all over looking for
some generic drivers for my firewire card. I checked the firewire site
and it says it doesn't have any drivers. xp doesn't have any drivers for
it and my DV cam doesn't have any drivers. it worked before and now it
doesn't.

These drivers "seem" to be built-in directly in XP. Do you have a firewire
card listed in Device Management?

Remove the card from your computer and reboot. Then, shutdown again and
re-install the card and reboot. XP should automatically detect the card and
install whatever it needs. If it doesn't do this, I would guess that there
is a problem with the card and would try a different one.
