I have WIN2000 Pro. The computer runs very slow and the
task manager says that the CPU is running at 100%. I have
stopped all allowable tasks from the processes tab in task
manager, but the CPU still runs at 100%. I then switched
to safe mode, and the task manager seemed normal. I tried
to download the latest patch from Norton in case this is a
virus, but the download kept stopping suddenly, and I
would have to start the process over again. I never was
able to finish the download of the update. I have a
feeling this is to do with the MSBLASTER virus and the
svchost.exe files....Thanks for anyone's help!
