100% cpu usage

My Compaq nx9005 is running Windows XP SP2 e has been on 100% CPU usage for
a few days. I have already tried KB articles's ideas (555021 and others), to
no avail. When I hit CTRL+ALT+DEL, the Windows Task Manager shows "System"
process using 99% of CPU Mem Usage. Any ideas? Any utilities that could show
the culprit?
