1 Contact List

I've searched this whole discussion group for similar questions so please
pardon this question if it's redundant...

Basically I'd like to have 1 Contact list where a user can right click a
recipient & have it add to this list (outlook default goes to user's mailbox
contacts). This list must be accessable to everyone access exchange.

Currently I have a Public Folder "Master Contact list" that everone can
access & add to but I'd like to eliminate the possibility of adding contacts
to any other contact list but the "Master Contact List"

Do I need to eliminate the public folder contact list & setup a profile on
the exchange server & share that profile's mailbox?

Thank you in advance for any pointers.

The right-click option will always place the contact in the default Contacts
folder and that behavior can't be changed, as far as I know.

Thanks Brian... I've read that as well...

however I've also read (through this discussion group, can't find now) that
creating a profile (thru outlook 2003 on the exchange server) and then adding
that user/profile on the client PCs changes the default contact folder to
that profile....

How about eliminating the Global address list?

Do you think that writing a COM Add-in would be too time consuming or
unwarranted?

Thanks...

Google Groups (http://groups.google.com/) can find just about any previously
posted message in all of USENET.

The default contact folder will always reside in whatever data store is
designated as the delivery location, either a PST or an Exchange mailbox.

I know no more about Exchange than would fit in a thimble.

Beats me, but there are programming and add-in newsgroups where you have a
better chance of obtaining an answer, like
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.developer.outlook.addins

Outlook provides no way to do what you want, at least not without building a COM add-in.
