Global Contacts Exchange Server Editing (O2003)

Fabio

My business has an Exchange server w/ many e-mail mailboxes & users. In
Outlook 2003 for some reason it shows only older emails on the global contact
list based on the exchange server.

Is there a way to either update the global contact list or to edit the field
for it to access the exchange server directly instead of it going into the
outlook file.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Tools-> Send/Receive-> Download Address Book...
This should update automatically though at least within 24 hours after the
changes has been made on Exchange.

Unfortunatelly it does not update by it causing an error 0x8004010F.

What I am puzzled about is how to change the provider on the properties of
Global Address list. I need it to go directly to the server name and not a
folder in my C: Drive.

What exactly do you mean with that? The GAL is cached to your local drive so
you can use it Offline as well.

What is the error in full?
