I have seen articles all over the place about this error but it is still
kicken my arse. I have a win2k laptop with office 2k installed. This
particular user dials up with aol to get to the internet and then
PoP3/smtp's into us for his work email. Now when trying to send or recieve
he gets a timeout with the above error. I have removed Symantec Anti-virus
and disabled the symantec firewall. Removed and re-installed office 2k and
still get the same error. I even tried with outlook express 6. I have
renamed and recreated .pst files. Any other suggestions short of a fresh
win2k install. thanks
