Outlook 2K3 installed on a laptop with Office 2003 Professional.
Laptop is a WinXP (all current patches) and is member of a domain XYZ,
but has me logged in with cached credentials.
Currently roaming, but did a boo-boo the other day. Dis-engaged
offline folders while logged into my USERNAME.XYZ profile and now the
computer is pausing for 2-10 seconds on certain things. I understand
it's probably trying to find out where the domain controllers, et al,
have gone.
However, OL2K3 just started acting up the other day (while the other
pauses happened a week or two ago). Now, OL2K3 gives me the
0x080040201 error when SENDING to hotmail (as a configured HTTP
account in my OL2K3 profile).
Are these things related? I have attmpted to remove and reinput the
hotmail account, to no avail. My next step would be to blow away the
OL2K3 profile completely. After that, because of the pausing, I'd
like to return to a local profile and migrate all of my settings over.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Jeff
