0x80004005 on IDE Drive

i got the error code above on formatting the volume.
what seems to be the problem pros?

Please add a few more details. Which volume? Formatting from where, XP?
Vista Setup? How about some description of the system.

sorry for the incomplete info.

Im installing Vista Beta2 from Fresh installation (DVD boot), im using 80Gb
Maxtor IDE Harddisk, and upon creating new partition i got the error above
with the description of: "Failed to create new partition on the selected
unused space"

Vista can display my Volume Name, Size, and Free Space: Disk 0 Unallocated
Space, 76.3GB, 76.3GB.
