Hi!

I bought an Asus laptop with Vista Home Premium preinstaled. After install
an demo copy of Alcohol120% the boot sequence of Windows vista crash with a
0x07e error. I know that it's caused by the Alcohol virtual drive driver but
I can't disable it because the system don't boot on safe mode nor any othe
mode abaliable on the Vista boot menu.

I tried to use the recovery DVD that comes with my Asus, but it seems to be
only to restore the system to its initial state, eliminatig all data from my
hard disk.

There is any solution (like step-by-step boot) for my problem?

Thanks

PS: sorry for my ugly english.

I think you have destroyed it and you cannot get out of it, but to finally
format the HD and do the restore. You should be very aware of installing non
Vista compliant software or hardware.

Maybe, you can get your data off of the hard drive by booting with Ultimate
Boot CD, that works with Vista. You can have someone burn a CD for you.
