You tube video

Using xp prof and tryong to watch the video from Youtube. It says that I have
either the Javascript turned off/Adobe Flash player out of daate.
Questions 1/ how do I turned on the Javascrit (only updated as recent as
last week)
2/ After installating the Adobe Flash player, I still cannot play the
youtube vidoe.

Please advice what can I do next? Thanks

Disable your firewall & see if it works. If so, it's the firewall blocking it.

Lower your Internet settings to Medium High & check the Internet Zones by checking in IE |
TOOLS menu | INTERNET OPTIONS...)

Get the latest Adobe Flash:

http://www.adobe.com

Right click the video & in the Adobe Flash box check to see if the site is allowed or
denied

You're apparently confusing Java with Javascript. You didn't mention
what browser you have. This is how I do it (I'm using IE6):
