Yamaha SW 1000 XG Sound Card - Incompatible!!!

Hi Guys - I have just upgraded from XP Home, and now find that the special drivers for this £450 Sound Card for XP on the Yamaha Site doesn't seem to work on XP Pro. I am lost without this sound card, do I have to strip out XP Pro?, and everything else with it?
Gosh, I have had so many compatibility problems with XP, I wish I had stayed with Win 98!!!!
Would appreciate any forthcoming help from anyone with this sound card.
Regards,
John

This is all I found.

fubar, I picked this up some months ago from a friend at yamaha R&D
- I used it with the DS2416 and it was fine. If this makes sense for
the SW then give it a go.

the wdm ones works fine

The SW1000XG & DS2416 are fully supported under XP with the WDM
drivers for WIn2k (they are however not as yet certified).

The problem with the DS2416 side is that the
new Yamaha drivers set SWWDMAS2 does not include the DS2416 setup
utility which contains the mixer. You need to download the previous
driver set version as well and run setup (not the setup in the ASIO
directory) from there after installing the SW1000XG & DS2416 drivers
(in
that order) from the SWWDMAS2 driver set. Then install Cubase and
upgrade to latest version and then run the Yamaha ASIO setup from the
SWWDMAS2 set. The ASIO SW+DS 32 WDM option should then work fine.
