Yahoo Messenger log in problem

Hi all. My girlfriend got a new Yahoo account but can't
log onto Yahoo Messenger - a message about having wrong
password or username. She tried getting a new Yahoo
address and password but still had the same problem. She
is using Win XP Pro. It is a clean install, only a few
days old, so I think everything should be OK with the
OS. Has anyone else had similar probs with Yahoo
Messenger in the last couple of days?

Sorry this is not a windows related issue.

I suggest you carefully review your application info, when
attempting to get a screen name, it could be the name you
chose is already in use, and you missed the notice.
