Help.. I have almost the same exact problem. Internet explorer will not open
at all without an error report (that freezes before I can get into it and the
one time I did get into it, it said the ,msn messenger.exe was the problem. I
did how-ever reinstll messenger. I didn't do any hotfixes. Affraid of loosing
important data. My Yahoo and Aol work fine. I did download netscape browser
(in the short time I had before I lost explorer completely) to use for now.
I can't get into windows update or send the error's that I keep getting to
micrsoft or read the contents of the error problems in netscape. Very
frustrated. Wonder if it was something in the last window's update I
received.? Maybe my virus softwear conflicted with something. Could it be an
important cookie got deleted while cleaning spyware program out? Any
sugestions would be helpful.

Doreen, it is best not to post onto another old thread. Post a new one
with your issue including all pertinent details. Also it might be best
if you post to the msn messenger newsgroup. Here is a list of MS public
newsgroups: http://aumha.org/nntp.htm

Review this link on making a good newsgroup post. Good luck:
