XP reboots intermittingly

New C4/2200 PC, new XP SR-1, and XP is sometimes
rebooting while working. Sometimes a "serious error"
message is displayed - many times no message - sometimes
no event log is generated for the fault. Last event log
reads

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Save Dump
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1001
Date: 12/11/2003
Time: 7:00:00 PM
User: N/A
Computer: FLASH
Description:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0x804eca95, 0xec1f6be8,
0x00000000). A dump was saved in:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini111203-01.dmp.

There is no real info on the particular stop code or
bugcheck - any ideas anyone??
