XP randomly shuts down and reboots

The client computer is member of SBS 2000 and in the past two weeks has
started randomly rebooting. Thinking it may be an undetected virus I
reformatted the HD and reinstalled XP Pro sp1. This hasn't corrected the
problem.

Event log txt:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e
(0xc0000005, 0x019b0743, 0xf6a93690, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini012005-03.dmp

Additional problems, windows update no longer works either. IE opens update
web page and begins scan but never returns a result. Any action to close IE
fails, (including Ctrl+Alt+Delete which freezes the system) This however,
does not cause XP to reboot. The reboot occurs at random.

Thanks
