XP quicklaunch icons black and unusable

Ladies and Gentlemen
I am having problems with my quicklaunch bar. Recently I was trying to print
out a document when my pc crashed, when ti came back up I found the
quicklaunch icons had changed to black and were unusable...does anybody ahve
any ideas ?
Win XP Pro.

Try running a system restore or SFC /scannow from the run command
