XP problems with user profile and MSO97.DLL

Hi -

I have a home computer which I recently upgraded from
Windows 98 to XP. My software is Office 97. I have
three users set up on the computer - Leigh (90% of the
activity), A and B. Everything was working fine until...

I now cannot access any of the Office 97 programs (Word,
Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) with my user profile. I get
a message that MSO97.DLL cannot be found. However, if I
use one of the other user profiles (A or B) the software
functions fine. Access also doesn't work on my user
profile, returning a message that there is not enough
memory or that a serious system problem has occurred.
But it works just fine for A and B.

I also have a Palm Zire, and trying to sync it with
Outlook causes the whole computer to crash (regardless of
user profile) and a "serious error" message to be sent to
Microsoft on restart.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Leigh

There may be a few limitations in using XP with Office 97 as MS would want
you to use Office XP. Suggest a Office newsgroup may be able to help more.
