Dynamic Link Library MSO97.DLL could not be located

I'm getting the following error message upon launching Access 97 after
installation. I'm running on a Windows XP OS load. I also have tried
to register the DLL myself using the
REGSVR32 MSO97.DLL command, but upon entering that command, I get the
additional error message of:
"C:\..\MSO97.DLL was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was
not found. The file cannot be registered."

Anyone had encounters with this and can lend some advice?

Thanks, Bob
