Good morning all,
I'm in a bit of a pickle with an issue i'm looking into and really hoping
some one could be of assistance. One particular workstation is not displaying
the desktop wallpaper correctly. All PC's are using dual screen setups, well
that is excepts for mine as I'm the loely helpdesk tech but I digress. In
this instance the right monitor (secondary) is showing the correct image,
while the left (primary) is showing a completly different image. To make
things worse (at least fo rthe person using it) the image is HIGHLY distorted
again not an issue for me.
When logging on of off of the machine the correct image displays one both
screens but when logging in the correct image only displays on the left
screen for a few seconds. Both screens revert to what I call "windows XP
blue" after a few seconds then the right image displays correctly and the
left back to the incorrect image.
I went as far as to remove the wallpaper from the registry and it still did
not fix the issue. The left image still manages to sneak back some how
despite the fact that the image file has been relocated to the desktop
folder.
Any thoughts that come to mind as to what may be causing my delemia?
