xp pro installation stopped by procedure entry point location

When I try to install XP Pro, I get this message:

"unregmp2.exe

The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located
in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL"

What should I do to rectify this situation? Is there a
download that will remedy this?

When windows starts up, go to task manager and kill the
file unregmp2 once this is gone from task manager do a
search for this file and delete it. You may have to search
the registry and delete the entre from there as well.
