XP Logon

Is there any way I can bypass any Logon's? I have unchecked Fast User
Swithing and Welcome Screen, and it STILL wants the "Administrator" to give
the password. I have no password there, but still have to click to get XP to
open to my Desktop. Any ideas? thanks! Pete

Do NOT, EVER, use the built-in Administrator Account as your one and only
log-in. When (not if) it gets corrupted, the ONLY way into your machine is
via a repair install of Windows XP. create a User account, give it admin
rights if you must, and use that for everyday use. Save the built-in
Administrator account for emergency access.

I suppose you just have administrator on the welcome screen, create a user
from the control panel users. then restart yor machine to see if it gets
inside automatically. else get back.

Hi

Scroll down that page to the tweakui.exe file and download it. The Logon
option in Tweakui has always worked for me.

1) Click Start, Run and enter CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2
2) Select the user account you want automatically logged on (this avoids the Administrator account being selected by default)
3) Uncheck Users must enter username and password..........
4) Click Apply
5) In the next dialog, enter the password, if any, for the account you chose in Step 2
6) Ok your way out
