Windows Xp logon screen

When starting the computer the windows xp logon screen is no longer
appearing...i have enabled a password for the administrator account still no
welcome screen also have Changed the way users log on or off selected the Use
the Welcome screen for fast and easy logon check box. what do i need to do to
get the welcome(logon) screen back....

Open a Run Command and type i:
control userpasswords2 click [OK]
On the User accounts Click on Users and make sure this box is checked:
[ ] Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.

Also click Start >> Control panel >> Double click User Accounts and check
this box:
[ ] Use the welcome screen.


No, You still can use Fast switch by doing this:
Click Start >> Control panel >> Double click User accounts >> Double click
Change the way users log on or off.
There check mark this box:
[ ] Use the welcome screen
[ ] Use Fast User switching

Click Apply Options.

Clcik [OK] or Hit [Enter].
Note: the sapce between control_userpasswords2

ok that worked but i dont see administrator username......i see an account
that has administative rights but its not the administrator...i want
administrator

They are all there if you click on Users Tab then in the Box under it's
header:
Users for this Computer:
[*] Administrator
[*]Wop_Wop
[*]Nass
[*]User
If you Highlight any user you want the screen and password for it to come up
on log on select properties and you will see the permissions and Description
for that User or Admin.
But all in all did you create such an Admin or you still using the Built-in
Admin of this machine.
You still can assign yourself as Admin (i.e your account as Admin with full
privileges).
