xp keeps shutting down whilst on aol-broadband

Can anyone help?

After connecting to aol-broadband without incident I keep
getting a message telling me my computer is about to shut
down ie "NT AUTHORITY a remote procedure call (RPC) was
terminated unexpectedly. The computer will shutdown in
60s".

How do i stop this
