xp/antivirus

when i upgrade from windows 98 to xp i'm am not able to
run my antivirus. it will install but shutdown when you go
to open it.what can i do to fix this?

Jay, perhaps your anti virus program is not compatible with XP.
Check the anti virus site to see if it is compatible or not and whether you
need to patch it etc. or to actually update the program.
