OS: Windows 98 SE
Ram: 128 mb SDRAM (16 mb shared memory)
PCchip 810 Motherboard
Athlon XP 2200+ prossecor (1.8 ghz)

I was cleaning up my pc today and i saw the folder named "Config.msi" (C:\config.msi)
I searched on what this was a month ago and recalled that it was a backup in case i wanted to restore windows to the previous state. I thought i didnt need to backup my windows so i just deleted the folder to get some more room in my HD. Next time i rebooted my pc it was running at 1.1 ghz. I went to the bios and played around with the settings and only got it back up to 1.467 ghz. However its supposed to be running at 1.8 ghz. I was going to open up the case and pull the little plug near the motherboard battery but i dont want to poke around. Any solutions?
