Write to memory Error

I have been using win2000pro for long time...Recently I began getting an
error when I run a program "Desktop Mailer". I been using it on same
machine successfully for 3 or more years. Now when I attempt to save a
template or data created via the program I get the following message/error:
"The instructions at "0x77fcb3ad" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be written." I installed the program on two other
machines, one a win98se and another win2000pro and I have no problem. On the
problem machine the Program works but will not write anything to memory.
could this be a problem with hard drive or ram.
any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

my computer started having the same problem once i restarted it afte
installing Norton AntiVirus 2005. Currently running Win. 2000pro
what's the problem? Does anyone know? Runs ok in safe mode.
