workstation can't connect to server-dns issue

Mike A

Good day all,
This is a new network with a new domain and the server is
win2k w/ ad & dhcp server configed

I have a problem with workstations connecting to the
domain and get a message that says error validating the
domain azlaw.com. this codition is caused by a forward
lookup problem, and tells me to go to this site:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=5171.
The secified domain either does not exist or could not be
contacted.

First I removed the dns then followed the directions from
the web site for creating the dns & forward lookup after I
did that I don't see the SRV Record "Subfolders

Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance.
Mike

Did you restart the Netlogon service?
All machines pointing only to the internal DNS address?
"Allow dynamic updates" set to "Yes"

Post an ipconfig /all and the AD domain name from ADUC please.
