Working with Microsoft Side Note

Will this Windows email work with the Microsoft Side Note that also came on
my new computer....it talks about being able to send emails from Outlook
express over to Side Note....but Outlook express did not come on this
computer....can anyone tell me if windows email will work with Side
Note...and if so...how to do it?
