Windows mail contacts

Hi, in my old outlook express i was able to have a list of my contacts
on the left hand side of the window, it was handy to quickly select an
email address, but i cant seem to find out how to get my contacts list
on the left side of my window in this new windows mail programme, any help
appreciated, cheers.

windows mail. Can anyone provide me with information on how to set up
contacts for email similiar to Microsoft Outlook?
