Workgroup will not go away!

Hello

I was recently doing some testing of apps which required
me to remove a few pc's from a domain and add them into a
workgroup.
I have since removed all the pcs from this group and added
them back into the domain, but the workgroup is still
showing in "my network places".

When I try to access it to see what in there is says I do
not have permission. The same message appears whn I try to
delete it, even though I was the only one using it!

Any help would be very appreciated.

For whatever reason it seems it can take a while for defunct computers or workgroups
from disappearing from the browse list. It should happen within a couple hours at
most but I have seen it last a day or more. The browse list is considered ancient
technology in the computer world but still widely used.--- Steve
