Unable To Remove Workgroup From My Network Places.

Under My Network Places/Entire Network/Windows Networks, along with my
corporate Domain is a workgroup listed named Blackhawk that I cannot
access because there are no machines in it. I need to know how to get
it to stop displaying. Yesterday I built a machine and put it into a
workgroup of the same name, and was able to browse to that machine in
My Network Places and it was the only machine listed under Blackhawk.
I then joined that machine to my Domain, and something strange
happened. When I delved Blackhawk it showed all of the objects under
my corporate Domain. Those objects were still under the Domain, they
were just showing in both places. Today, there are no objects under
Blackhawk and I'm just getting the same no access error message I was
getting before. Message can be found here
http://www.armsman.com/marc/blackhawk.jpg if that helps. Essentially
I just delete Blackhawk and keep it from displaying when you view
Windows Networks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The browse list that is configured in the background for My Network Places is quirky
to say the least. I don't know of a way to selectively delete entries like a
workgroup. My experience is that it will eventually disappear, usually within a day
at the most. --- Steve

Thanks for the reply Steve. Unfortunately this has been here for
months. We have no wireless access points, I've checked every printer
configuration on the network, can't find any reference to Blackhawk
other than the listing in My Network Places. Really an annoying
mystery.
