Workaround for "no systray icon"

Open Task Manager/Processes
Right-click gcasServ.exe
Click "End Process Tree"; Yes
Close Task Manager
Run "GIANTAntiSpywareMain.exe"
Icon now appears and you can close main window.

Yuck.

Have you tried posting your problems
not related to MS AntiSpyware to

Rebooting does not always fix the issue. With my
machine, it NEVER fixed the icon. It seems to come and
go with McAfee VS updates but I can't be sure.
