Work Perfect Problem

I currently have Word Perfect Family Pack 10 installed on my computer. I
have automatic updates installed from Windows XP. My Word Perfect 10 has
stopped working for about the last year. The program will open but I am
unable to open any files that I have saved on my computer. When I try to
open a file, the program freezes up and I have to use control, alt, delete
to close the program. The program is not really closed then because I can
not re open it. A dialog box says a version is already open. I have to re
boot the system to re open. I need help. I have tried everything I know
to correct this problem including online help from Word Perfect. Their
solution does not work.

Remove, then reinstall WP. Ah, that's what they suggested?
