wordpad

Awhile back I created several documents in wordpad and created a new folder
for them in my documents. I no longer needed them, so I recently deleted the
folder. They are still showing in wordpad in the file dropdown. How do I
delete them from there?

Stored in the registry in this key.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Wordpad\Recent
File List

otherwise just open 4 other files and the current ones will be replaced.

If you're uncomfortable editing the registry, just try to open the files that
have been deleted. You'll get a dialog saying the file can't be found, and
it will then be deleted from the file dropdown list.
