I'm having an issue with the menu font in Wordpad. I had post a question on
here before but can not seem to find the post. One of our software packages
some how corrupts the font in the menu's of wordpad, and I nned to know which
font it is so I can download and replace the file. Anyone help?

I believe it is the Verdana font. And it does look like it to me.

I don't think that's it. I can't remeber if it's an font or a system file.
Like when I go to close wordpad and it says do you want to save. It just has
???? or some other char.

Well I say Verdana font because I seem to recall I lost the menu font
under Outlook 97 once. And it had to do with Verdana if I recall
correctly. And all of the menu fonts all look the same to me. Anybody
else see a difference between the normal old looking applications?

I just tried to move it right now (under Unlocker) and Windows keeps
replacing it on me. So I can't prove that WordPad menu is using this one
right now.

Hi "Ace",

When closing Wordpad, mine says:
"/!\ Save changes to document? [Yes] [No] [Cancel]"

That is what is known in Display Properties as a Message Box.

Right-click desktop, click Properties for Display Properties dialog.
Click Appearance (tab)
Note the (W&B) "Windows and Buttons" setting: Classic, or XP.
click Advanced (button)
In the Advanced Appearance dialog, click Item, click Message Box

If you are using the Classic W&B, Font = Microsoft Sans Serif
If you are using the XP W&B setting, Font = Tahoma

(You're welcome. :)
