Word 97: recover after saving on a "blank" document ?

R

RS

I'm not sure what my friend did ... and the file is thousands of miles from
here, but apparently she was working on a Word 97 document, and somehow the
Word doc frame became blank (??) and she went to quite and in a spactic
moment clicked "yes" when prompted as to did she want to save the changes.

The document now appears to be blank, but it is 33 kb in size.

Is there any way to recover some previous version of the work?

Thanks !

If she still has the document open, click on Undo as many times as necessary
to get back where she was. If she has closed the document, you're at a safe
distance.

I think it's safe to say, since she "went to quite [quit]," that the doc is
not still open.
