wont install

Hello

Ive had some problems with my machine so i changed out my motherboard. iThis
system will boot up fine using another hard drive i have with XP on it, from
another machine but i cant get it to do anything when i try to reinstall
using the drive that was in the machine(or a new one i just tried)

When i try to run an install it iether just shuts down on me, freezes or
gives me a blue screen. It all does this just before or after the option
comes up to format the drive, i cant get anywhere with it. Like i said, the
system will boot up using another hard drive i have from a different system.
Ive tried a new hard drive in this system, a new power supply and RAM, IT
WILL NOT INSTALL. Why will XP not install on a clean drive but run from a
disk with XP allready on it? I am all out of ideas except to install XP from
this drive in another system and then switch it back, but then im going to
have to run a repair and that wont run iether.

ps. Ive tried using 2 new boards now with the same results. XP will install
on these hard drives from another computer.

Does anyone have any ideas?

AMD 2800+ Socket A 1024MB RAM

I forgot to add that if i try to boot right into XP it loops on me. It
continuously reboots.
