Won't access certain sites

Cann't access google.com, 123greetings.com and some
others; only since about a week; all cookies, temp
internet files and history deleted, all settings checked;
internet/email functions perfectly at other sites; I
suspect that either some IE6 SP1 parts are maybe damaged
or unintentionally deleted; how can I check IE6 SP1 being
complete and 100% o.k., is there maybe a site, program to
check it and correct any missing/damaged parts? I have
downloaded this latest version of IE so I don't have it on
any external media like CD. Is there any other possible
reason
Thanks!

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
