I have a file made with Photo Story 3 which I could not get Nero to accept so
I tried importing into collections with Movie Maker but got a reply.
"The file C:\Documents and Settings\Brian M Leahy\Desktop\PhotoStory1.wp3 is
not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie
Maker." Any idea where I go from here?

WP3 isn't a video file but instructions on making one. Videos are wmv. Either try burning the video file or import the wmv.

I tried importing the .avi file into Windows Movie Maker. (File / Import Into
Collections)
All I got was, "The file C:\Documents and Settings\Brian M
Leahy\Desktop\PhotoStory1.wp3 is not a supported file type, and it cannot be

wp3 is your PhotoStory 3 project file.
Try importing the finished .wmv movie file.

If you allowed the movie file to save in the
default location, you'll find it at:
My Documents / My Videos.

If you did not enter a name for the file it
will be "PhotoStory1.wmv".
