WMM2 Error message

When I try to capture video I get the following error
message: "The video device is currently in use. Closw any
other application that is using this device and try
again."

Once i click OK, a new message reads: "the video device
cannot be used at this time because there has been an
error starting the device".

I'm using a ATI All-In-Wonder 128 pro. It was working
fine with WMM before sp2 update.

Can anyone advise

I seem to of fixed my problem.

Rebooted my system and logged on as another user. Went into MM2 and it
worked fine. Went back under my name and that was also now working.

One thing I noticed was that when I logged under another user I had to
reconfigure Media Player. Does the SP update need each user to log on? Did
this cause a problem?

Don't know but I seem to be working now.

I am also experiencing this problem! I tried your fix James and it did not
work for me. I used a regular user account and then used an account in the
local administrator's group. This may or may not work.
