Wireless LAN connection

Bill

I have a laptop with XP pro and use a PCMCIA card for
wireless connection. I found I could connect onto the
LAN, but IE webpages never turn on!

What is wrong with that? I have exhausted all the
methods. Please give me some suggestion!

Thank you

Bill

If you use a router to get to the web, then check the router's
setup pages: check that the router is not set to disable access
to the web from your PC (MAC address filtering) or from all
wireless PCs.

On your wireless PC, check your LAN setting to ensure that you
do not have an invalid proxy setting: for typical SOHO usage,
you should not have a proxy setting.

Can you ping your ISP? If so, your connection is OK and you
should check your DNS and IE settings.
