WinXP SP2 breaks Right-click Send To Mail Recipient

I can no longer right-click on a file, select "Send To Mail Receipent" and
have it open a new Outlook Express email message with the file attached.

Is this to be expected with this service pack?

Is there a fix?

Based on: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;821403 I
tried:
1.. In Registered file types, click MAPIMAIL, click Change, click Select
the program from a list, click OK, and then click Browse.
2.. Locate and then click the file name of the program that you use as
your default e-mail program (Msimn.exe for Outlook Express), click Open,
click OK, and then click Close.
and found that MAPIMAIL does not have any registered file typ associated
with it and, while I can browse to and see Msimn.exe, it is grayed out and I
cannot select it for use.

Any suggestions?

See these articles:

And (XP Only):

These articles have solved that problem in the past. But with SP2,
you are the first to post this problem. Lets hope.

I actually posted this same concern last night, and my
reponses have all been regarding divx 5.02 (which I do
indeed use) I haven't tried it yet, but I just wanted to
let you know what the problem might be. They say to
uninstall divx, and disable DEP.

Thanks for the reply. The first link did the trick. Outlook Express had
forgotten that it was the default email program. When I corrected that the
Send-To problem was fixed.

Thanks again!

Might be a fix when SP2 is complete, but it's only a Release Candidate and
not a final yet. Expect the unexpected.
