WinXP Pro - Services Not Loading Right?

In the Task Manager, under the User Name column most of the names are
missing, including all the 'System" services. Plus I'm unable to load some
services. For example, the service that automatically detects USB devices
and Mcafee virus scan auto (the manual scan still works and doesnt find a
virus).

Has anyone seen this problem... how do I fix?
