Bill

I bought a new hard drive, made an image of
my old hard drive, Ghosted the image onto the
new drive and removed the old C: drive.

My problem, Win xp still lables the new drive
as D:. I tried doing a repair install and still
is labled D:.

Any help is appreciated.

go into control panel, select admin tools, and then load up 'computer
management'.
In this handy tool, in the main window select storage/disk management.
here you should have all sorts of options for changing partitions volume
labels etc.
i hope this works. if not, i am out of clues!
