Wins.Backup missing after upgrading to Wins XP Home

After upgrading from Wins98SE to Wins XP Home, Windows backup is missing. I
understand from a previous post that Backup is not included with Wins XP Home
and can be recovered from the full version of Wins XP CD. Can the Wins
Backup Program be recovered from the upgrade version of Wins XP as well?

Yes ...in the same place on the CD

The program you're looking for is "ntbackup.exe", and it can be found for
free on the internet. I found it a couple of years ago. In my opinion
there are better backup programs out there.

That's correct.

The issue has nothing to do with the Full version, it has to do with XP
*Professional*. It's on Professional, but not Home.

Can the Wins Backup Program be recovered from the
upgrade version of Wins XP as well?

Yes, if it's XP Professional.

Personally, I reccomend springing for a third-party backup program instead
of the Windows backup. My favorite is Acronis True Image.

Excuse me Ken.....
..but I seem to remember that when I purchased an Upgrade Edition Of XP Home
that the backup program needed to be loaded seperately from the OS...but it
was included on the CD...under the Value Added/MSFT folder. Whereas in XP
Pro it is installed with the OS.
