I purchased Symantic's Nortons Internet Security 2004 and
put in on my Dell Desktop computer. I have DSL and
Windows XP Home edition. (Found out too late that XP has a
firewall) This program, Nortons, suggests that I change
from NetBIOS to WINS to minimize access by outside
internet venders or hackers to find my computer. I
understand the change process but need the WINS IP
address. I don't know where to find that or who to
contact to get it. Any ideas on the subject?
