Wink new version out.

I got an email yesterday from Wink's developer saying a new version
was out. Dl it and tried it yesterday. One neat addition is a
loading bar and a progress bar. The one shows loading time and the
other allows user to move ahead or back in a presentation much more
easily.

_Still_ missing, the ability to add a graphic portion to a screen and
position it to where you need it. At least, I couldn't figure out how
to do this yet. They promised this functionality in this new release.

Ah well. Great to have the bars, though. Hopefully soon they'll add
the other as sometimes difficult to re-do an entire image or sequence
of images because one absolutely needs to add a graphic element in a
sequence to a presentation. Tough to do esp. after the fact. You
have to set up everything again and then re-capture the whole thing
just to have a complete sequence.

Maybe it's just because I didn't figure out how to do this.

Anyway, Wink is fantastic despite this.

Just for the sake of completeness:

"Introducing Wink...

Wink is a Tutorial and Presentation creation software, primarily
aimed at creating tutorials on how to use software (like a tutor for
MS-Word/Excel etc). Using Wink you can capture screenshots of your
software, use images that you already have, type-in explanations for
each step, create a navigation sequence complete with buttons,
delays, titles etc and create a highly effective tutorial for your
users."

Thanks for the heads up!

Sorry, sorry, guys, it's not a whole new version but a minor update, I
just found out right now. Sorry about that. Satish himself answered
a post of mine on the forum with an issue I had re the inability still
to move pasted graphics images around. That still can't be done in
this update so that's what I questioned. In his reponse that I just
got, that's when he advised me that it was actually just a "minor
update". Apparently, though, the new feature of pasting and moving
images around is _still_ on the books for the new version but Satish
still didn't give an exact date for when it would be released.

Sorry for the confusion but the email I recvd read that it was a new
version so I was reporting that fact.

A good note is that the new sliding bar feature in this update is a
very valuable and kewl addition in my book. :blush:D

Then no need to apologize :)
