PapaJohn,

I have not visited this subject in a while and I am having problems. I am
trying to replace one of the overlays with a different image and I can't seem
to get it to work. Here is what I am doing, please tell me if you can figure
out what I am doing wrong. I created the new image in Adobe Photoshop. It has
a transparent background. I saved as the other file (overlay 10). I replaced
it with the new graphic. I closed Photoshop and re-opened Movie Maker. When I
insert it into the show, the graphic isn't showing up. I can't figure out
what I am doing wrong. It is probably something simple that I am forgetting
but I can't think of it....can you please help? Thanks.

I am trying to clarify - it is almost as though the picture is behind my
background and needs to be brought to the front...everything else seems to be
working ok. It is saved on a transparent background as well.

Maybe a coupld questions will help

does it look OK in the preview monitor before adding it to the project?
are you putting the overlay clip on the title overlay track of the timeline,
not the video track where it would act very differently?

I think I have figured it out - I think the picture was too large. Thanks for
your help.
